BIO
Serving the firm in an “of counsel” position, Jackie primarily practices in insurance litigation and regulation, real estate and commercial transactions, and government relations, and frequently serves as a mediator. She is a member of the Federation of [Insurance] Regulatory Counsel, the Montana Board of Bar Examiners by Montana Supreme Court appointment, and the Uniform Law Commission by legislative appointment. She was the Montana contributing editor to Superseding and Staying Judgments: A National Compendium and Lobbying, PACs, and Campaign Finance: 50 State Compendium. Jackie is admitted to practice before the Montana Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the District of Montana, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court, and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
An active supporter of the Helena arts community, Jackie has participated in and served on the boards of numerous Helena community organizations, including the Helena Symphony Chorale, Intermountain, Myrna Loy Center, St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, and the Montana Club. She finds particular enjoyment in sailing, canoeing, gardening, and ongoing restoration of the historic building she calls home.
