DAVE JACKSON

BIO
David L. Jackson is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Montana, all State of Montana courts, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Jackson has practiced law in Helena since 1965. He has trial experience in state and federal courts in various types of cases; experience in the representation of clients before the Montana Public Service Commission, the Interstate Commerce Commission, and the United States Department of Transportation in transportation matters. Dave has also had experience as an attorney for various state boards, serving as counsel to the Department of Revenue from 1969 to 1983 and as general counsel to the Montana Board of Housing from 1977 to 1989. Mr. Jackson has had lobbying experience, including for the Montana Public Employees Retirement System and the Montana Credit Unions League. Dave practices in administrative law, business law, commercial law, business organization, estate planning and probate, real property, utility, and regulatory law, was a founding member of the firm, and has been with the firm since 1970. Dave serves the firm in an “of counsel” position.
